Our university, which has been growing in many fields in quantitative terms, attaches great importance to the quality of this growth. Within this framework, first of all MÜDEK Accreditation was successfully obtained at the Faculty of Engineering, TS EN ISO/IEC 17024 General Conditions Standard for Personnel Certifying Organizations and 17025 TÜRKAK accreditations were obtained.
Our university, which adopts the principle of stakeholder participation with its internal and external quality standards in education-training, research-development and managerial processes and continues its quality studies intensively, has recently applied for the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certificate, has successfully completed the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Standard External Inspection process on 31 October-1 November 2018 with all its units and was awarded the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certificate.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan stated that the application for ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certificate is the choice of the University Management while there is no necessity. He stated that this application has been made in order to document that the quality of the education and services given in our university is constantly growing and developing.
The University has recently completed its evaluation process within the scope of Higher Education Quality Council 2018 Institutional External Evaluation Program (YÖKAK).
