Educational activities of Hitit
University successfully continued as a unit of Gazi University including its
four faculties (Faculties of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of
Engineering, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Faculty of Divinity), three
vocational schools, (Çorum Vocational School, Sungurlu Vocational School and
Osmancık Vocational School) and a School of Health, and having about seven
thousand undergraduates until 2006.
It was officially established
in 2006 after decisions of Cabinet and Turkish Council of Higher Education, and
got its name, Hitit University. Educational activities of Hitit University have
been going on with its experienced teaching staff, potential basic facilities
and excitement of being recently established.
Hitit University aims at being
a constantly developing university by establishing new research institutes and
different departments under current faculties, which are going to come into
educational service very soon.
