Approval from HEC for Opening Philosophy and Religious Studies Master's Degree with Thesis to Run with Amasya University

Philosophy and Religious Studies Master's Degree and PhD with Thesis program within our university Social Sciences Institute has been educating with experinced academic staff for a long time.

Amasya University’s request to open Master’s degree program with thesis in this department of our university jointly and to educate in this area was welcomed by our university and this request was approved by HEC (Higher Education Council) in General Assembly Meeting dated 08/06/2016. According to the protocol signed, the program which will be run by Amasya University will begin receiving its first students this year.

Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan in a statement on the subject says “We have many joint works especially pedagogical training given to our students with Amasya University. Combining the strengths of the neighbour universities in the same region, making joint works and opening new programs will contribute to both aforesaid provinces and the universities. Our mutual cooperation with Amasya University will continue thereafter.”
